Summary:This paper investigates the relay tracking problem for networked nonlinear multi-agent systems with communication delays. By setting up monitoring agents in a certain area, the object of this paper is to track the targets which cross over the monitoring area through the relay cooperative tracking strategy. Based on an improved data-driven control method, a data-driven relay tracking control strategy is proposed. It is shown that under the presented relay tracking strategy, all pursued agents asymptotically achieve tracking the target agents. Moreover, with the introduced delay compensation mechanism in the control strategy, the communication delays are compensated actively. Finally, some simulations are provided to illustrate the performance of the proposed strategies.
