Summary:[Display omitted] Lasiodiplodiaones A (1) and B (2), two new depsidones, along with five known depsidone compounds (3–7), were isolated from the fungus Lasiodiplodia pseudotheobromae. Their structures and absolute configurations were demonstrated based on NMR, HRESIMS, X-ray crystallography, and modified Mosher’s method. Especially, compounds 1 and 2 are the first examples of depsidones decorating with a 2,3-butanediol group.
