Evaluation of partition constants in compartmentalised systems from fluorescence quenching data

A method is proposed to obtain binding constants from fluorescence intensity data. The treatment of the data given is independent of the quenching mechanism, the probe lifetime and the residence time of the quencher inside the micelles.
