Warped fermi surface of the conduction band in InSb

The Shubnikov-de Haas frequency anisotropy defined by [F(111)−F(001)] F(001) , was found to be ∼0.4% and ∼1.4% for samples with electron concentrations of ∼2.2 × 10 17 cm −3 and ∼1.1 × 10 18 cm −3, respectively. This anisotropy can be explained by a warped Fermi surface.
