Summary:In December 2019, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS CoV- 2) in Wuhan, China, was the first coronavirus to be declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization. It was observed that the majority of affected adult patients developed serious life-threatening complications, whereas the disease was milder in children. Despite the increasing number of affected children and newborns, there is still limited information on treatment options and disease management. In this article, the literature on COVID - 19 in newborns and children is reviewed and the findings are summarized and it is aimed to present up-to-date information about pediatric and neonatal COVID-19 management, epidemiological, clinical, laboratory and treatment options.
