Simulation of thermophysical and physico-chemical processes occurring at coating formation in electron-beam technologies of surface modification of metallic materials

The paper reviews our theoretical research aimed at studying the processes that accompany electron-beam surface treatment of materials. The major attention is given to the description of nonequilibrium physico-chemical processes occurring in the treatment area. We briefly analyze three types of mode...

Summary:The paper reviews our theoretical research aimed at studying the processes that accompany electron-beam surface treatment of materials. The major attention is given to the description of nonequilibrium physico-chemical processes occurring in the treatment area. We briefly analyze three types of models corresponding to different technological schemes. The ways of further development of the theoretical approaches used in our research work are discussed.
