Direct measurement of Fano-effect on Rb at 266 nm

Polarization of photoelectrons from Rb produced by circularly polarized light ( λ = 266 nm) was measured to be 68 ± 5%. This value agrees with earlier indirect measurements of the Fano effect on Rb.
