Summary: | As part of the implementation of the program for the import substitution of corrosion inhibitors, scale formation, and biocides, the branches of OOO Bashkir Generation Company conducted research and pilot testing (RPT) on the use of VTIAMIN reagents when dosing them into the circulating water of recycle cooling systems (RCC) of several CHPPs. The selection of VTIAMIN reagents, manufactured by OOO Water Technologies Engineering, was carried out in accordance with the test objectives, taking into account the composition of the equipment and operating conditions of the RCC, the quality of the make-up water, and the methods of disposal of blow-down water. As a result of studies carried out using a mobile bench installation that simulates the operation of a ventilation cooling tower at a temperature of 45°С and an evaporation coefficient in the range of 1.0–3.5, it was shown that the reagent VTIAMIN TS-5 has a high antiscale efficiency and can successfully replace the imported Aktifos 640T reagent without changing the dosing scheme and chemical control methods. The use of the VTIAMIN ZS-6 reagent provides sufficient protection against corrosion of copper-containing alloys by inhibiting the local dissolution of copper and creating a protective film on the surface of the equipment under conditions of dosing into circulating water in excess. VTIAMIN B-6 proposed as a domestic biocide at a dosage of 0.2 mg/dm

is able to suppress biological growth in RCC elements and replace the imported Turbanion M104 reagent. The effectiveness of the reagent is confirmed by the results of controlling the total microbial number on contact slides (biotests Microbiology Environcheck Contact TVC). |
