We wish to report a case of successfully treated systemic infection with capnocytophaga in an immunocompromised host.
A 76-year-old man with myeloid metaplasia was treated with nitrogen mustard and then left the hospital against medical advice. He returned seven days later and reported epistaxis and weakness.
