Summary: | The aim of the work was to develop and make a composite in laboratory conditions consisting of tungsten powder and other metal powders, the density of which would be close to the lead density 11.3 Mg/m3. This material should also meet the requirements for ammo bullet cores. In order to check whether the material developed meets the set requirements, the scope of work included: material development, making cores of bullets from the produced material, making projectiles using the above-mentioned cores, ballistics tests such as internal, external and final ballistics. |
