Summary: | Cephalometric roentgenography was used for evaluating, analyzing, and planning the surgical and prosthetic treatment of several patients with mandibular deformities. The archial analysis was most applicable for this purpose.
The archial analysis made it possible to determine the proper position of the mandible, and it eliminated guesswork in constructing the splints and positioning the mandible during the operation. Cephalometric roentgenography was also used for comparison and for follow-up of the completed treatment. |
