Summary:This paper presents a semiclassical treatment of cooperative combination scattering (CCS) by the propagating of a light pulse. The treatment is based on the coupled Maxwell equations and equations for ▪-matrix elements. If the exciting pulse has its initial step form there exists an analogy between the CCS and process of propagation of coherent pulse in the medium of two level atoms. Using this analogy one obtains spatial and temporary characteristics of the CCS process.
