Summary:The differential diagnosis of dizziness in children is extensive. It requires a careful evaluation of the patient's complaint and a systematic review of systems. Because there are endless etiologic possibilities, an algorithmic approach, taking into account the patient's complaint, age, and clinical laboratory findings, may help the clinician reach an accurate diagnosis. Ultimately, the successful treatment of dizziness depends on the physician's ability to establish the correct etiologic diagnosis.
