AM1 study of the thermolysis of acetone cyclic diperoxide

The thermolysis of acetone cyclic diperoxide has been investigated by the AM1 MO method using the unrestricted Hartree-Fock (UHF) approach. This thermal decomposition takes place by two routes with activation energies of 130 and 152 kJ mol −1.
