Summary:Now thin coal seam mining technology and equipment falls behind and the researches on hydraulic support is not enough, this paper introduces the structure and design characteristics of hydraulic support of thin coal seamm, systematically describes the automatic control function, and establishes simple planar models of thin coal hydraulic support. Successful application of the support provides methods and experiences for design and manufacture of thin coal seam hydraulic support.
