Summary:Exhaust system play very important roles now a day’s due to stricter norms of air pollution. Its design is a complex procedure and depends on several parameters that are prioritized based on the need. Usually emission and power consumption are two thrust areas of exhaust manifold design. This work provides required dimensions and parameter values to successfully create the model of exhaust system of a common compact truck used for goods loading. Thereafter a comprehensive analysis is presented using computational fluid dynamics concept to compare three different working conditions of exhaust manifolds and to conclude the better one.
