Summary:This paper reveals the Fabrication,Analysis and Testing of adhesive joints used in the aircraft structures.Anadhesiveis any substance applied to the surfaces of materials that binds them together andresists separation. Some of the more common adhesives that have been used in aircraftconstruction and repair include casein glue, plastic resin glue, resorcinol glue, and epoxy. The joints made with the help ofadhesive materials are called adhesive bonded joints. The most commonly used adhesive bondedjoints in the aircraft structures are balanced and unbalanced Single lap joint, Double lap joint subjected to tensile, compressive and shear. The joints are fabricated using aluminium alloy plates with Lapoz Ultra adihesives. The strength of the adhesive bonded joint is tested using UTM and the results arecompared with the analytical and FEM values. There is a good agreement between the Theoretical,Experimental and Finete element analysis values.the shear strength of the double lap joint is more than the single lap joint.
