Summary:The TiO2 nanorod (TNRs) was synthesized on fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) glass substrate using hydrothermal method. The TBOT concentration during hydrothermal process was optimized. Vertically aligned rutile-TNRs were grown on FTO substrate with average diameter of 150 nm and length of 3.5 µm. After that, Cu2O was successfully deposited on TNRs using new proposed method; two-step electrodeposition technique. The electrodeposited-Cu2O fills the narrow spaces between the TNRs and completely covered the TNRs to form TNRs/Cu2O heterojuncion.
