Summary:In this paper we study Dirac-Weyl equation on a sphere under the influence of electric and magnetic fields. We have considered some electric and magnetic field profiles and bound state energy values have been found in each of these cases. The effect of curvature on the energy levels has been determined. It has also been shown that a parameter α similar to the electric to magnetic field ratio has a critical value αc such that bound states exist for α ≤ αc while for α > αc they do not exist. •Dirac-Weyl Equation on a sphere.•Orthogonal electric and magnetic fields.•Bound state solutions.•Landau level contraction.
