Summary:This paper briefly describes the role and function of CATIA and VERICUT, and combining this two software as optimization platform built collect modeling, machining, simulation and optimization in one of the CNC machining chain. Through the VERICUT to simulate and optimize the NC program, examples demonstrate the rationality of optimization, avoid the collision, interference and had cut in the production and processing, improve the efficiency in the use of CNC machine.
