Summary:In this article, the Poiseuille and Couette flows subject to tangent hyperbolic fluid model with variable pressure dependent viscosities through porous medium have been analyzed numerically. Both flows have been examined for four different expressions of viscosities and porous medium parameters. The obtained differential system is solved by shooting method along with Runge–Kutta algorithm. The impact of involved parameters on both Poiseuille and Couette flows are discussed and the observation in this direction is shared with the aid of graphs and tables. It is noticed that the Poiseuille and Couette velocities subject to tangent hyperbolic fluid model are increasing function of Power law index •Both the Poiseuille and Couette flow regimes are investigated.•Pressure dependent viscosity is carried along with porosity effect.•Formulation is subject to Tangent Hyperbolic fluid model.•Effects of physical parameters are examined.
