Summary: | This paper investigates the requirements for the gain and the frequency band of the components used in the implementation of a precision root mean square measurement system based on the method of successive extraction of the means of the absolute values. The analysis shows the feasibility of a system using this method at a level of accuracy of one part in 10/sup 6/ in the frequency range from 10 to 100 Hz. |
