Summary:As chiral plasmonic nanostructures exhibit giant and extraordinary optical responses, these nanostructures have been mostly studied at optical sensing, and endless attempts have been begun to finding structures with a high value of sensitivity. Along with this goal, we report the sensitivity and LSPR properties of the Ag trigonal nano- chiral. Obtained results show that plasmon bands have the aspect of the dark plasmon modes in the range of 200 < λ < 2000 nm. Among these plasmon bands, we find the unusual bands with an ultra-high value of sensitivity (1346 nm/ RIU). This band shows high sensitivity to the radius of the nano- chiral and medium refractive index, which presents considerable potentials in the applications of LSPR sensing.
