Summary:Abstract Binary radiotherapy (BRT) approach for curing malignant tumors is described in the paper. Two main modalities of BRT, i.e. Neutron Capture Therapy and Contrast Enhanced Radiotherapy are being described and compared. Physics of BRT practical implementation is discussed. Clinical efficacy of BRT in treating brain tumors and head and neck cancer as well as pharmacological challenges and achievements are being reviewed.
