Summary: | Following proposals and discussions within Europe, a model syllabus for food process engineering is proposed under the aegis of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering Food Working Party. It details the subjects and their relative ‘weightings’ for what is termed the ‘ideal’ syllabus and also for a minimum ‘core’ occupying 80% of the five-year course.
In the Appendix one author's (B.H.) particular approach to the subject — the modelistic approach — is developed. |
