Summary:Correlations between the data on the ecological state of water bodies and results of their biological testing has been analyzed using test objects from different groups ( Paramecium caudatum and Chlorella vulgaris ). It has been shown that statistically significant relationships exist between the results of biotesting and physicochemical data on the pollution of surface water in the regions of hydrocarbon extraction.
