Summary:This paper studies the impulsive stabilization of a class of nonlinear singular switched systems (SWSs). With the aid of discretized Lyapunov method, a reduced-order impulsive controller is designed, which just works on the slow state variables to stabilize SWSs at impulsive instant. Based on the designed controller, it is shown that the stabilization of SWSs is achieved in two cases: all unstable subsystems with stabilizing impulses and all stable subsystems even with destabilizing impulses. Finally, an example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
