Organic solvents, broadly being used in organic reactions, have been listed as a kind of significant organic pollutants in water. The abuse of acetylacetone (Hacac) may cause acute problems both to the environment and human health. In this work, we have presented a three dimensional cobalt(II)-coordination polymer (CP) using mixed ligands 1,2,4-triazole and oxalic acid, formulated as {[Co2(ox)0.5(trz)3]·2(H2O)}n (compound 1; Htrz = 1,2,4-triazole, H2ox = oxalic acid), which shows an intrinsic detection capacity for Hacac in aqueous solution. The crystal structural analysis reveals that this CP material features (32·43·5)2 (32·44·54·62·73) topology. Further studies manifest that compound 1 exhibits remarkable solvent stability and acid-base stability. Fluorescence experiments prove that this material can selectively and sensitively detect Hacac in water with high quenching constant value of 384.6 M−1 and low detection limit of 4.76 μM. The anti-interference ability and possible quenching mechanisms also have been researched at length. |
