Summary: | The influence of oil contaminated soil on surface waste water is considered. The new approach to the solution of the problem concerning the soil purification from oil using surplus activated sludge as a biopreparation-destructor produced during biological water treatment is offered. The specimens of sludge taken from purifying systems of oil refineries are used as biomass. The results of experimental researches have shown that activated sludge, adapted to oxidizing of oil hydrocarbons, can be an effective biopreparation-destructor of oil hydrocarbons. |
