1‐(Carboxymethyl)uracil
In the title compound, C6H6N2O4, the planar carboxyl group makes a dihedral angle of 74.61 (2)° with the uracil plane. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three‐dimensional network.
