Summary:Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) is an emerging air traffic surveillance technology that overcomes the limitations of today's radar technology and enhances the air traffic control. To provide authenticity, integrity in ADS-B and to improve the computation, communications efficiency, in this paper, we propose a new, efficient, and secure pairing-free ADS-B authentication scheme with Batch Verification in ID-based framework. The proposed scheme is proven secure and is more efficient than the existing schemes.
