Summary:With the development of science and technology, using biometric technology to implement identification is a wider application especially in the area of E-commence. It receives continuous attention in the period of information security. Among all biometric identification methods, infrared face recognition, being straightforward, passive and non-invasive, can dissolve the problem of light which influence visible-light face recognition. This paper chooses energy imagery for the reason that it is less sensitive to the ambient temperature. What’s more, for the characteristic of energy concentration in wavelet transform, we can reduce the data complexity based on face recognition in wavelet domain. However, various wavelet bases will bring out different results in analyzing. So we select wavelet basis based on infrared face recognition of energy imagery in wavelet domain. The experiments illustrate that adopting the wavelet basis of orthogonally and symmetry can get higher recognition rate.
