Summary:We propose a robust positive observer-based output-feedback (OBOF) controller design method for linear time-invariant systems subject to parametric uncertainties and l ∞ disturbances. The contributions of this paper include the following: (i) the OBOF controller design condition is formulated as a convex optimization problem although there exist uncertainties in the system; (ii) a separation principle is demonstrated in the l ∞ – l ∞ disturbance attenuation.
