Summary:In 2004, the World Health Or- ganization Classification of Endocrine tumors defined PCC as a intraadrenal paraganglioma, whereas closely related tumors of extraadrenal sympathetic or parasym- pathetic paraganglia are classified as an extraadrenal paraganglioma.1 Otherwise, renal artery aneurysms, which are most frequently asymptomatic, are rare, with a reported incidence of between 0.01 per cent in autopsy studies and 0.7 to 1.0 per cent in large-scale screening studies with various imaging modalities.2 We present the case of a 12-year-old male with extra- adrenal pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma associ- ated to a right renal artery aneurysm. The association between PCC and other kinds of an- eurysms is reported in the literature in some papers.4 In a revision, on the pudmed database (keywords: aneu- rysm, aneurysms, pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma), we found 20 cases of aneurysm in association with PCC, including this case (Table 1).
