Relaxation of KU-1 silica glass structure under annealing

The relaxation process of the KU-1 silica glass structure under annealing at 825–980°C was researched, and the energy of activation of the relaxation process was defined. The formula for calculation of the relaxation time of the KU-1 silica glass is τ = 2 × 10 −15 exp(85800/ RT ), [hour].
