Summary:The features of stable geochemical associations of the Asachinsky epithermal Au-Ag deposit are studied using statistical methods for analyzing the data of synchrotron radiation induced X-ray fluorescence analysis (SR XFA). Correlation, cluster, and factor analyses are used as basic methods for estimating the correlation between concentrations of elements, detecting stable geochemical associations, and selecting polyelement geochemical indicators. The use of the SR XFA data in combination with mathematical methods makes it possible to determine the causalities between various geochemical indicators, to reconstruct the shape of the geological object under study in the factor coordinate space, and to determine its distinctive features.
