Summary:Silver nanoparticles and clusters (Ag 2 + , Ag 4 + and Ag 8 ) in zeolite matrices having the structures of paulingite, Rho , and Beta have been obtained using the method of chemical reduction of silver in the ionic form preliminarily introduced to the pores of the studied zeolites through ion exchange. The effect of the ion exchange conditions, surface properties, and porous-textural characteristics of zeolite matrices on the size, state, and stability of the obtained silver rnanoparticles over time has been investigated. The samples have been studied using the methods fo X-ray diffraction analysis, flame photometry, and UV spectroscopy with integrating spheres.
