Summary: | We observed single crystal C60 films before and after 3kV electron-beam irradiation, using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and electron diffraction (ED). Comparison between the experimental and simulated ED patterns demonstrates a mixture of body-centered orthorhombic and hexagonal close packed-monoclinic based one-dimensional C60 polymer models with the intermolecular distance of 9.28Å well reproduces the experimental ED results. |
