Summary:(Li 0.8 Fe 0.2 )OHFeSe is a superconductor with high superconducting transition temperature (43 K) and stable in air, which is conducive to most measurements and has attracted wide attention. Here, a series of (Li 0.8 Fe 0.2 )OHFeSe 1- x Te x single crystals with x  = 0 ~ 0.15 was synthesized by hydrothermal ion-exchange method and its crystal structure and superconductivity were investigated. The substitution of Te for Se only resulted in monotonic increase of lattice parameters a with the increase of Te doping content, while other structural parameters show abnormal evolutionary processes. Te doping suppressed the superconductivity of (Li 0.8 Fe 0.2 )OHFeSe. A positive correlation between superconducting transition temperature and lattice parameter c was observed in current (Li 0.8 Fe 0.2 )OHFeSe 1- x Te x system, indicating that large interlayer distance is essential for enhancement of the superconductivity in FeSe-derived superconductors.
