Summary:Heat exchange processes in prostate glands containing malignant tumors were modeled mathematically by numerical solution of the heat and mass transfer equation for biological tissues. The test objects were malignant prostate tumors with different specific heat release levels; two versions were modeled: without heating and with heating to 45°C. Data were obtained confirming that microwave radiothermometry can be used in the 3800 MHz band for the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of prostate diseases by a variety of hyperthermia-based methods.
