AbstractList | One possible method for making long YBCO wires or tapes is film deposition on polycrystalline metallic tape with YSZ buffer layer. Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) thin films with C-axis texturing and partial in-plane texture were deposited on polycrystalline metallic tape (Hastelloy-C) by modified dc bias sputtering. YBCO films were deposited by using dc magnetron sputtering on Hastelloy tape with YSZ buffer layer.
