Summary:Yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) thin films with the c-axis texturing and partial in-plane texture were deposited on polycrystalline metallic tape (Hastelloy-C) by modified dc bias sputtering. YBCO films were deposited by using dc magnetron sputtering on Hastelloy tape with YSZ buffer layer. Microstructure of the YBCO/YSZ/substrate was studied using transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.
