Summary: | This quantitative study examined the material hardships experiences of LGBTQ students at research universities. Using a series of regression analyses, we find relationships between students' sexual identity and experiencing material hardship, including differential relationships when disaggregating by sexual orientation. These results identify unique experiences for students based upon their sexual orientation and expand understandings of LGBTQ students' experiences with material hardship beyond community colleges or aggregate understandings. |
