Summary:In this study, a high-gain Quasi-Z-Source (QZS) DC-DC converter with continuous input current is investigated. In order to increase the voltage level from lower to higher, a switched capacitor (SC) branch is added to QZS. This converter has absolute common ground, high gain, continuous input current, and low current stresses across the inductors and power switch. In this article, the principles of the converter's operation have been reviewed, and then the voltage and current stress on the elements have been calculated. In addition, in order to analyse the efficiency of the proposed converter, it has been compared with other converters in detail. Furthermore, the parameters design of the main components is presented. The proposed converter is simulated in MATLAB, and the results validate the functionality of theoretical predictions.
