Summary: | Regular examination of both tagged and randomly selected fruit clusters for Epiphyas postvittana damage in a Tasmanian orchard revealed the progressive pattern of damage incurred during the 1970/71 fruit season. There was no significant difference (P>0.05) between injury levels estimated by the two methods indicating that the repeated handling of fruits during examination did not disturb E. postvittana larvae. |
