A macrocyclic polyprenoid from Alangium ridleyi
A macrocyclic polyprenoid, (1Z,5Z,9Z,13Z,17Z,21Z)-1,5,9,13,17,21-hexamethylcyclotetracosa-1,5,9,13, 17,21-hexaene, has been isolated from the extract of the leaves of Alangium ridleyi. The structure of this 24-membered ring compound has been established by using 1H and 13C NMR methods.
