Summary: | Ceria-based nanopowders with a crystallite size of 8-10nm have been prepared by sonochemical method using inorganic salts without any additives. In all cases, ceria-based materials have a mesoporous structure with pore diameter of 2-12nm with bimodal pore distribution. Lattice parameter dependence of nanoscale solid solution on nominal metal content was not linear, that is, did not correspond to Vegard's law. |
