Summary:The purpose of this article is to identify the commonalities in nursing perspectives among 6 countries/regions (United States, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand). Nine leaders from the 6 countries/regions reflected on what nursing perspectives were in their own countries/regions and provided exemplars/cases from their own experiences and literature reviews. The data were analyzed using a content analysis. Seven themes were extracted: (a) "embedded in cultural and historical contexts"; (b) "based on philosophical pluralism"; (c) "women-centered perspectives"; (d) "care-oriented holistic views"; (e) "ethical and humane views"; (f) "respecting and advocating"; and (g) "considering diversities."
