Summary:The present study aimed at delineating personality traits that play a significant role in career planning. The study included 116 students of the final high school grades confronted with making a decision concerning their study and future job. A self- constructed questionnaire and the NEO-FFI were administered. Significant proved to be neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. At the same time, 41% of the examined students proved to have no specified plans. Despite that 70% of them evaluated their future career as positive.
