Summary:Forensic nursing is also a new province occurred in parallel with the theory of professional nursing and development scientifically. In Turkey, nurses in forensic services try to improve their knowledge and abilities by gaining experience on forensic cases in departments they work and joining vocational training courses. In our country, when we consider nursing education, it is seen that forensic nursing subjects are not regarded enough in curriculum. Meanwhile, in some universities, it has started to be optional subject. This study was planned descriptively to assess knowledge level of nursing students in Health of School of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University on forensic nursing concept and legal responsibilities of forensic nurses and forensic medicine issues.
